Return & Refund Policy.

What happens if a service didn't do what we said it would, or a part we fitted didn't behave as it should.

Airbrix is a services business — most of what you pay for is the technician's labour, not a product on a shelf. Refunds and returns therefore work a little differently from a shop. Here's how, in plain language.

1. The 90-day workmanship promise

Every job we do is covered for 90 days from the completion date. If a fault appears in that window that's directly caused by something we did or installed, we return at no cost — labour, travel and small consumables included — and put it right.

2. If we didn't deliver what we quoted

If the agreed work was not completed — for example, we promised to dismantle and chemical-wash three units but only did two — you only pay for what was delivered. If you already paid in full, we refund the difference within five working days via the original payment channel.

4. Maintenance contract refunds

If you cancel a maintenance contract before all its prepaid visits are delivered, we refund pro-rata for the unused visits within 14 days. Visits already used are deducted at the standard non-contract rate, since contract pricing assumed the full year.

5. Deposit refunds

For installations and larger jobs, we sometimes take a deposit to order materials. If you cancel before we order, the deposit is refunded in full. If we have already ordered, we refund the deposit minus the cost of any non-returnable materials.

We aim to acknowledge within four working hours and book a return visit (if needed) inside three working days.

7. Refund timing

Approved refunds reach your account within five working days via the original payment method. Bank transfers and DuitNow usually clear within 24 hours; card refunds depend on your bank but typically settle within five working days.

8. Disputes

If we can't agree on whether a refund is due, we'll mediate via the Tribunal for Consumer Claims Malaysia (TTPM) or the Malaysian courts. We've never had to go that far, and we'd rather not.
